BCB Suspends Former Captain Mohammad Ashraful

Former Bangladesh captain Mohammad Ashraful has been suspended by the Bangladesh Cricket Board as an investigation into match-fixing during the Bangladesh Premier League takes place.
It is understood that Ashraful has admitted being involved with fixing during the tournament, which was held earlier this year.
"As Ashraful has confessed his involvement in fixing to the ACSU team, so he should not be allowed to play any level of cricket until we get a full report of the investigation," BCB President Nazmul Hassan is quoted as saying.
The ICC ACSU investigation continues.
Cricket has been rocked by recent revelations of spot-fixing during the Indian Premier League which saw three cricketers, several bookmakers and a senior Chennai Super Kings official arrested.
