Cricket World Player of the Week - Ebadot Hossain

Ebadot Hossain starred in Bangladesh's maiden win against the Kiwis on New Zealand's soil.
As Mushfiqur Rahim smashed Kyle Jamieson for four, Bangladesh created history by registering their first-ever win across formats in New Zealand.
The victory was least anticipated in the 5-day format, with the Kiwis brushing aside even strong opponents like India and Pakistan on home soil. More so, they are the defending World Test Champions.
However, a Bangladesh team packed with youngsters, in the absence of Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman, did what no one had expected of them. They not only ran the hosts close but beat them fair and square by 8 wickets.
Mehidy Hasan and Shoriful Islam took three wickets each in the first innings to restrict new Zealand to 328 after a good start and then slammed 458 to take a massive lead.
It was then Ebadot Hossain who brought home the advantage with magical figures of 6/46 to end as the much-deserved Player of the Match.
