Suryakumar Yadav enthralled one and all with his deft touches and intelligent shot-making in the T20 series between England and India.

He finished as the highest run-scorer in the series with 171 runs from 3 matches at an average of 57 and a strike rate of over 200.

SKY capped it off with a sensational 117 in the third T20 International at Trent Bridge. India were tottering at 31/3 at the end of 5 overs in pursuit of a mammoth 216 but somehow reached within touching distance of the England target.

Had Suryakumar Yadav not been dismissed in the penultimate over off Moeen Ali, chances were bright of India running away with the heist.

If there's one thing which Yadav knows by heart, it is that there are only 11 players in the opposition and no matter how you arrange those barring the wicketkeeper and the bowler, there will always be open spaces in the outfield and he just ensures to make the most of those gaps in his own inimitable style.

Suryakumar Yadav missed the 5-match T20 series against South Africa right after the IPL due to injury and there was a semblance of doubt over his place in the Indian XI going into this year's T20 World Cup in Australia, with Deepak Hooda and Virat Kohli also in the mix.

All doubts, if there were any in the first place, were put to bed with his scintillating 55-ball 117 which included 14 boundaries and came at a strike rate of 212.73 to give England a scare.
