After yesterday's win over West Indies, India are really on a roll and they are not just going to the quarter-finals - there is a strong case of getting to the semi-finals as well now.

My prediction of Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa to make the semi-finals is still on!

It was good for India to be pushed hard by West Indies because no game is going to be easy from now on. Once they are in the quarters, they just need to play three good games to win the World Cup.

There is a campaign in India which says "Won't Give It Back" and they are trying to live up to that.

The bowling and the fielding continues to impress - they have really improved in these areas. Batting has always been strong but bowling and fielding were weaknesses before.

I'm so glad they have improved on their weaknesses and this is why they have become a strong team.

More than that, they are now looking like the team to beat. They have set the benchmark for the others to reach - including Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Now they have qualified for the quarters, there may be some temptation to alter the team line-up, but why change a winning combination?

They may try and rest one or two, Akshar Patel might get a chance instead of Ravindra Jadeja but they won't change the team dramatically unless there is an injury.

They might, however, try to give the other batsmen some practice because the batsmen that come in later like MS Dhoni and Jadeja haven't had much of a chance out in the middle. They may bat higher up the order.

Elsewhere, I'm glad that Ireland have put up a bit of a fight, as well as Scotland. It's good to see these 'so-called' minnows rub shoulders with the better teams in the world because that is the only way they are going to improve.
