Farokh Engineer Praises The Success Of The IPL

Former Indian cricketer Farokh Engineer praised the commercial success of the Indian Premier League.

Engineer commented on the success of the tournament, which is currently in its eighth season, both in terms of entertainment value and the opportunities it has presented for young and developing players. 

However, whilst Farokh stresses the positive impact the competition has had on the development of players, he also laments the attitude it is conjuring in young Indian players who would prefer to play in the lucrative IPL than representing their country in Test cricket.
