Incessant rains delayed the start of the game and when finally play started, there was more stoppage. In the end the game was reduced to a 10-overs a side contest. Scotland openers remained unbeaten as they finished on 90 for no loss. George Munsey made an unbeaten 41 off 31 balls with four boundaries and two sixes. On the other hand Michael Jones made an unbeaten 45 off 30 balls with four boundaries and two sixes.
The chase for England was meant to be 109 after calculating the same under Duckworth Lewis Stern Method (DLS) but unfortunately the chase never took off as rains returned to result in points being shared by both sides in the Group B clash.
