India Tour of South Africa 2024 - Teams, Player Squads, Fixtures, Schedule and All you need to know

India are touring South Africa to participate in a 4 Match T20I Series, beginning on the 8th of November. The 4th and the Final T20I of the series will be played on the 15th of November, 2024.

Four different venues have been finalized for all the 4 T20I games, namely Kingsmead, Durban; St George's Park, Gqeberha; SuperSport Park, Centurion and The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg.

After a let down in the Red Ball format against New Zealand recently, India would be looking to bounce back in the shortest version of the game.

India are led by the flamboyant Suryakumar Yadav and they have named a strong squad including the likes of Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Rinku Singh, Axar Patel, Ramandeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi. Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant will be preparing for the Border Gavaskar Trophy in Australia and hence, skipping the series.

South Africa on the other hand are led by Aiden Markram and they also have big names in their team like Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller, Reeza Hendricks, Gerald Coetzee and Donovan Ferreira.

South Africa definitely hold the advantage in their home conditions but the form India is in, we are expected to see closely fought and entertaining contests between both these teams.

The last time these two sides met in a T20I game was in the recently concluded ICC Men's T20 World Cup, wherein India emerged winners in a close encounter. The fans will surely have a deja vu feeling in the upcoming matches between these two sides.
