Hubli Tigers were tipped to win this match and had a well-rounded squad but Luvnith Sisodia's dismissal in the second over came as a jolt for the Tigers. Both Mohammed Taha and Shishir Bhavane fell soon after, exposing the middle order.
However, KL Shrijith and KB Pawan had a 49-run partnership to stabilize things. Pradeep T then came to his own, dismissing both Pawan and Shrijith to trigger a collapse for the Tigers.
