Major League Cricket playoffs set to thrill fans this week

The excitement of cricket in the United States continues as the Cognizant Major League Cricket Playoffs begin this week, as cricket enthusiasts and sports fans alike are eagerly looking forward to world-class competition for the MLC playoffs here in Texas.

Washington Freedom, San Francisco Unicorns, Texas Super Kings, and MI New York are set to battle over a five-day playoff period, culmination in the Championship Final match on Sunday, July 28, at Grand Prairie Stadium.

It commences Wednesday, July 24, with the make or break Eliminator match between two of cricket's powerhouse teams, Texas Super Kings and MI New York.

Washington Freedom and San Francisco Unicorns will then take center stage on Thursday, July 25 in the playoff Qualifier, as the two top-of-the-table teams square up to secure their place in the Championship match.

With two matches remaining of the regular season, the final standings will be released after the last match between Seattle Orcas and Texas Super Kings on Tuesday, July 22, at Grand Prairie Stadium.
