Pakistan Tour of South Africa 2024 - Teams, Player Squads, Fixtures Schedule, Venues - All you need to know

The highly awaited Pakistan Tour of South Africa is commencing on the 10th of December. It is a three format tour which will begin with the ODI's. The Second and the Final Test Match of the Tour will start from the 3rd of January.

South Africa will be led by Heinrich Klaasen in the T20I Series. Aiden Markram is with the Proteas for the Test Series against Sri Lanka. Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, Marco Jansen and Tristan Stubbs are not available for selection in the T20I's. They will rejoin the team for the ODI Series.

Donovan Ferreira has been included in the squad for the T20I Series. Patrick Kruger and Rassie van der Dussen have also made a cut on the back of their phenomenal form. David Miller and Anrich Nortje have retained their places in the T20I squad.

Pakistan on the other hand will be led by Mohammad Rizwan. Top performers from the ODI Series against Australia, Haris Rauf, Abbas Afridi and Saim Ayub have retained their spots for the T20I Series against South Africa.

The spin wizards Abrar Ahmed and Sufiyan Muqeem have also retained their places in the team. Shaheen Afridi will also play alongside a very experienced squad that Pakistan have named.

Given the talent both teams possess, it will be an exciting tour to watch.
