Pakistan are reeling from a 0-3 loss to England recently and although their World Test Championship ambitions are all but over, the team will desperately want to right the wrongs of their last series.

Pakistan have added three players to their Test squad. Mir Hamza, Sajid Khan and Shahnawaz Dahani have been included in the Pakistan Test squad for the two-match Test series against New Zealand that begins on Monday.

The addition comes on the back of a discussion by the Men’s Interim Selection Committee, chaired by former all-rounder Shahid Afridi.

New Zealand are going through their own transition with Kane Williamson having let go of captaincy and although he's in the squad, Tim Southee has been named the new captain of the Kiwi Test team.

The action begins on December 26 in the form of the Pakistan vs New Zealand, 1st Test at the National Stadium in Karachi.
