Sri Lanka Women Tour of New Zealand 2025 - Teams, Player Squads, Fixtures, Schedule and All you need to know
Sri Lanka Women are touring New Zealand to take part in a 3 Match T20I Series and a 3 Match ODI Series, commencing with the ODI Series on the 4th of March in Napier.
The T20I Series will begin on the 14th of March in Christchurch and the Final T20I of the Tour will take place on the 18th of March in Dunedin.
Napier, Nelson, Christchurch and Dunedin are set to host all of the matches in the much awaited tour.
New Zealand Women are led by Suzie Bates for both T20I and the ODI Series in absence of their regular skipper Sophie Devine. On the other hand, Sri Lanka Women will be captained by the experienced Chamari Attapaththu.
Amelia Kerr is participating in the ongoing Women's Premier League and hence she wouldn't be a part of the ODI as well as the T20I Series. Molly Penfold and Lea Tahuhu are also out of the Tour due to injury. Bella James will get a chance to make her debut in the T20I Series.
Sri Lanka Women have named a very strong squad including the likes of Harshitha Samarawickrama, Vishnu Gunaratne, Sugandika Kumari and Udeshika Prabodhani.
New Zealand Women have an edge over Sri Lanka Women as the contest is happening in their home conditions but Sri Lanka Women do have a squad to give a tough competition to the hosts.
