Lucknow Super Giants registered another dominating win in IPL 2025 as they beat Gujarat Titans by six wickets at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Saturday.

 Asked to bat, Gujarat posted a total of 180 for six, which Lucknow chased with three balls to spare.

Gujarat had a powerful start to their innings as skipper Shubman Gill (60:38b, 6x4, 1x6) and Sai Sudharsan (56:37b, 7x4, 1x6) put Lucknow under massive pressure. Both the batters got to their half-centuries and stitched together 120 runs for the opening stand.

However, after that, Lucknow made a terrific comeback and reduced the opposition to 145 for four. Sherfane Rutherford (22:19b, 3x4) looked to score big but couldn't. Lucknow kept chipping in with regular wickets and restricted Gujarat to a total of 180 for six.

Skipper Rishabh Pant (21:18b, 4x4) opened the innings for Lucknow along with Aiden Markram (58:31b, 9x4, 1x6) and the duo took their team off to a flyer. They added 65 runs for the opening stand. Later Nicholas Pooran (61:34b, 1x4, 7x6), at three, played another blinder. Pooran, along with Markram, added 58 runs for the second wicket to take their team close to the target.

Later, Ayush Badoni (28 not out:20b, 2x4, 1x6) played a decent hand as Lucknow chased the target with six wickets in hand.
