Bangladesh Cricket Board has cleared Mohammad Ashraful to take part in a few domestic tournaments by partially lifting his ban from cricket for indulging in match-fixing.

Former Bangladesh captain Mohammad Ashraful could make a return to playing cricket in August 2016 after his suspension was almost halved by the Bangladesh Cricket Board Disciplinary Panel.

A Bangladesh Cricket Board anti-corruption tribunal has banned Mohammad Ashraful for eight years and Lou Vincent three for match-fixing activities.
