Mohammad Hafeez

Pakistan batsman Mohammad Hafeez and Sri Lankan counterpart Dinesh Chandimal have both been punished for dissent following incidents in the Twenty20 International in Abu Dhabi. Hafeez was handed a reprimand and Chandimal was fined ten percent of his match fee after both players showed dissent on being given out leg before wicket.

There are three main contenders for this week's Cricket World Player of the Week award. Mike Hussey hit a century in the second test against Sri Lanka to haul Australia up to 316 in the first innings; Kumar Sangakkara hit back-to-back half-centuries - one to help Sri Lanka draw the first test and one to set up a victory push in the second - and Mohammad Hafeez continued his rich vein of form in Zimbabwe.

This week's Cricket World Player of the Week is Mohammad Hafeez after he hit 119 and took four wickets in Pakistan's win over Zimbabwe. Other contenders for the award were Tino Mawoyo, who carried his bat for 163 in Pakistan's first innings, Nathan Lyon who took five wickets on debut, and Ryan Harris who took five wickets to seal Australia's win over Sri Lanka in the first Test.
