Cricket World Player of the Week - Jos Buttler

Jos Buttler might have been coming off a long injury layoff but the runs have continued to flow for England's white-ball captain.
Had Jost Buttler not hit the ground running against Australia, England would have found themselves in a real soup.
There's still uncertainty over Alex Hales' place at the top of the order, Ben Stokes is still searching for his old touch, and Liam Livingstone is still under a fitness cloud.
Thankfully for England, Buttler, who recently sat out of the entire 7-match T20I series against Pakistan due to a calf injury, showed that his lack of match practice before the upcoming T20 World Cup was not an issue for his side.
Buttler had not played since August 18 due a calf injury he sustained during The Hundred before taking the field against Australia. He had been in red-hot form in the IPL and The Hundred, and seems to have hit resume upon return.
England's white-ball captain finished as the top scorer in his team's series win over Australia, smashing 150 runs from just three innings at a sensational strike rate of 174.42, which keeps England in good stead for the World Cup.
