Cricket World's Player of the Week - Ben Duckett, England

England didn't have a great start to their innings as opening batter Phil Salt and Jamie Smith were back in the hut after having started.
However, Ben Duckett (165 not out:143b, 17x4, 3x6) carried his bat through and played a stellar innings. The opening batter registered the highest score in the history of the tournament.
Joe Root (68:78b, 4x4), who batted at number four, supported him well as they stitched a 158-run partnership for the third wicket. Duckett didn't get any support after Root's dismissal but made sure he scored runs quickly for the team.
Jofra Archer (21 not out:10b, 2x4, 1x6) hit some blows in the end as England posted a total of 351 for eight, which was the highest total in the ICC Champions Trophy history in the mid-innings.
The Inglis-Carey duo added 146 runs for the fifth wicket. In the end, Glenn Maxwell (32 not out:15b, 4x4, 2x6) did what he does best as he, along with Josh Inglis, took Australia home with five wickets in hand to script the highest chase ever in an ICC ODI tournament.
