Shamar Joseph, the injured pace bowler, delivered an outstanding display of fast bowling, guiding his team to a remarkable upset in Test history.

His performance led to a surprising eight-run victory over Australia in Brisbane on Sunday.

Shamar Joseph, who had to retire hurt due to a toe injury in the second innings on Saturday night, refrained from bowling on Saturday and only entered the attack 45 minutes into the first session.

He claimed the wicket of Green when the Australian No.4 chopped on, and then bowled Travis Head with an exquisite yorker, marking Head's second first-ball duck of the match.

Despite Australia cruising at 113-2, the momentum shifted abruptly to 113-4 as Joseph made his impact. Although Smith appeared unfazed as he reached his half-century, Joseph struck again when Mitchell Marsh edged to Alick Athanaze at third slip. Although the ball momentarily slipped out of Athanaze's hands, it directly went to Justin Greaves, leaving Australia at 132-5, with 84 runs needed for victory.
