Kev Baker is our club cricketer, who plays for Penkridge CC as well as the Shropshire D40 league, blogging his weekly adventures as he goes.
Wicket keeper batsman for Penkridge CC & Shropshire D40 Physical Disability team. Getting back to playing regularly over the last two seasons after a battle with ill health, resulting in me having my colon removed and a subsequent battle with sepsis in 2015.
Long suffering fan of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, I like most sports and attempt to play golf (generally badly). Also enjoy cooking, gardening, walking and travelling when I can afford it!
Write a regular blog about the goings on at Penkridge CC throughout the summer as well as other pieces occasionally, an interest I’m looking to develop over time.
Even at the age of 46, I still have ambitions to play at Lords one day...
