KPL 2019 Eliminator - Cricket Betting Tips and Match Prediction - Hubli Tigers v Shivamogga Lions

The Eliminator of the Karnataka Premier League 2019 will be played between Hubli Tigers and Shivamogga Lions at the Srikantadatta Narasimha Raja Wadiyar Ground in Mysore.

Shivamogga Lions lost the last league match against Bijapur Bulls by 17 runs and hence were pushed down to the fourth spot in the points table. At the end of the group stage, they have three wins and three losses from six matches and will be up against Hubli Tigers in the Eliminator.

The Tigers won their last league match against Bengaluru Blasters by seven wickets to secure a place in the Eliminator. The team winning this game will then proceed to Qualifier 2 to compete against the losing team in Qualifier 1.

Despite some disciplined bowling from Rishab Singh, who picked up two wickets from his four overs while conceding only 21 runs, Bijapur Bulls were successful in posting 195 runs on the board in the Lions' last match. Arjun Hoysala's 69 and M Nidish's 45 were not enough for the Lions as the lost by 17 runs.

Skipper Vinay Kumar, mainly known for his bowling skills, was the star for Hubli Tigers in their last match. Due to a groin injury, Kumar did not bowl but it was David Mathias who shone with a four-wicket haul.

Chasing a target of 159, Kumar promoted himself at one drop and had a 102-run partnership with opener Mohammed Taha to see Hubli Tigers to a win by seven wickets and ensure a place in the playoffs. The Tigers have momentum on their side.
