Yorkshire Ridings 207 for 8 (N.Allan 62, A.Lees 53; T.Martenstyn 4-42) defeated Kent & Surrey 96 for 4 (J. Denton-Smith 35, P.Bradley 2-13).
Yorkshire remained undefeated as they swept past Kent & Surrey by a convincing 111 runs. Bating first, Ridings reached the imposing total of 207 largely thanks to Neville Allan (62) and Alan Lees (53). For kent & Surrey, Trevor Martenstyn took 4 wickets. Kent & Surrey’s chase never threatened the Yorshiremen and they finished their allotted overs on 96 for 4. Paul Bradley took the bowling honours with 2 for 13.
