The highly anticipated T20 International Tri Nations Cup is commencing on the 21st of August with Kuwait and Hong Kong (China) locking horns in the opening match. The Final match of the competition will take place on the 27th of August, 2024.

Malaysia Cricket Board is hosting the Tri Nations Series and a total of 3 teams are participating in the Tri Nations Series, namely, Malaysia the hosts, Kuwait and Hong Kong (China).

A total of 7 matches will be played during the competition, including the Finals. Each team will face each other twice and the top 2 placed teams will play in Final match, to be played on the 27th of August.

All of the matches in the T20 International Tri Nations Cup are scheduled to be played at the Selangor Turf Club in Kuala Lumpur.

Hong Kong (China) will start as favorites as they have a great balance in their team. They have power hitters like Nizakat Khan and Babar Hayat along with wily spinners like Ehsan Khan and Ateeq Iqbal.

Kuwait also have quality players in their squad like Ravija Sandaruwan, Adnan Idrees, and Meet Bhavsar. They can certainly give a tough competition to their opponents in the upcoming matches.

Malaysia on the other hand have a relatively weaker squad compared to the other teams participating in the Tri Series. However, they are the hosts and know their conditions well. They will be looking to cause an upset or two in the upcoming matches.
