Match Analysis

Asked to bat, Lucknow posted 159 for six, which Delhi chased with 13 balls to spare.

Lucknow had a brilliant start to their innings as both the openers in Aiden Markram (52:33b, 2x4, 3x6) and Mitchell Marsh (46:36b, 3x4, 1x6) batted superbly on a slow track. The duo added 87 runs for the opening partnership but after that Delhi pulled back things incredibly well.

They lost four wickets quickly after that and were left reeling at 110 for four. Ayush Badoni (36:21b, 6x4) played a magnificent hand down the order that powered Lucknow to the total of 159 for six.

Chasing the target, Delhi lost Karun Nair early but Abishek Porel (51:36b, 5x4, 1x6) and KL Rahul (57 not out:42b, 3x4, 3x6) eased the things with their brilliant partnership.

The duo stitched 69 runs for the second wicket with both slamming superb half-centuries. Later, skipper Axar Patel (34 not out:20b, 1x4, 4x6) hit some lusty blows as Delhi chased the target with eight wickets in hand.
