Player of the Week - Kamindu Mendis, Sri Lanka

Dhananjaya de Silva and Kamindu Mendis became the third pair in Test history to score a century in both innings, as Sri Lanka set up a 511-run target for Bangladesh in the first Test Sunday.
The visitors were all out for 418 in their second innings at Sylhet, with Mendis making 164 runs to go with his 102 in the first innings and De Silva, who also scored 102 runs in the first innings, adding 108.
Both de Silva (108) and Mendis (164) got their respective second hundreds of the Test as well. They became the third pair of teammates to score twin tons in a Test match.
After their departure, Sri Lanka's batting line-up crumbled, managing only 280 runs, marking the second-lowest all-out total in men's Test cricket to feature two centuries.
Dhananjaya De Silva has moved up 15 spots to a career-best 14th position while Kamindu Mendis has re-entered the rankings in joint-64th position after recording only the third instance in Test history of two players from the same team scoring a century in each innings of a Test… pic.twitter.com/d5Ubi3ecRN
