A magnificent record partnership between Joe Burns 172* and Travis Head 161 put Australia in firm control of the 2nd Test against Sri Lanka, after Day 1.
Burns and Head put on a record 4th wicket partnership of 308 (against Sri Lanka) after Australia were at one stage 28-3. It was Travis Head’s maiden Test century for Australia and Burns second visit past the 150 mark.
