Cricket World's Player of the Week - Aaron Jones, USA

Co-host USA made a grand start to the T20 Men’s World Cup with a seven wicket win over Canada in the opening game of the tournament at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.

Andries Gous and Aaron Jones put on a breathtaking partnership as they demolished the Canada bowlers.

The Gous-Jones stand was worth 131 runs for the third wicket. Gous was dismissed for 65 off 46 balls with seven boundaries and three sixes.

Jones remained unbeaten on 94 off 40 balls with four boundaries and 10 sixes. USA chased down the target in 17.4 overs to finish on 197 for three.
