Mumbai Indians lifted their second Women’s Premier League (WPL) trophy as they beat Delhi Capitals in the final of the 2025 edition by eight runs at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday.
Mumbai had a poor start with the bat in the final as Yastika Bhatia's torrid run continued. Soon Hayley Matthews was also back in the hut. It was then that Nat Sciver-Brunt (30:28b, 4x4) and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (66:44b, 9x4, 2x6) bailed the team out of trouble.
