Cricket World's Player of the Week - Akeal Hosein, West Indies

Uganda tied Netherlands for the lowest ever total in a T20 World Cup thanks to Akeal Hosein's masterclass bowling.
Uganda had a forgettable outing with the bat. They got all out for just 39 in 12 overs. Akeal Hosein picked five wickets as batters looked clueless against the hosts’ bowling line-up. Juma Miyagi was the top run-scorer but it wasn't enough.
West Indies were off to a brutal start with the bat as openers Johnson Charles (44:42b, 4x4, 2x6) and Brandon Kings played aggressively. The duo added 41 runs for the opening partnership before Nicholas Pooran (22:17b, 3x6) chipped in with a quick fire on knock.
Skipper Rovman Powell (23:18b, 1x4, 1x6) and Sherrfane Rutherford (22 not out:16b, 2x4, 1x6) made handy contributions. But it was Andre Russell (30 not out:17b, 6x4), who finished the innings on a high as West Indies posted 173 for five.
West Indies currently sit at second place in Group C with two wins from two.
